Getting Invent-ive

I’m excited to announce that I have accepted a position with HP within their consumer software experience group.  My hardcore metadata days maybe over but I do come to HP speaking XMP and strongly attached data.

It’s going to be a crazy interesting challenge.  HP is huge and has a lot of hardware devices but a pretty poor consumer experience across the devices, especially when compared with Apple.  Not sure yet what I will be working specifically but there is a lot of interesting technology to explore, like WebOS from the Palm team, tablets, netbooks, media centers…
